OK, so the only doctor I have here is obgyn. He will not prescribe any appetite suppressant. Of course though will fill your face with fillers, clear your skin of spots, and refer you to a plastics.
Anyway, simple put I need Adipex. I’m in great health other than the last 15lbs. My sister just used this with great success. Unfortunately she’s out of state or I’d go she her doctor. Who used to be mine for 18yrs.

Give Dr. Autrey a call. He is a OBGYN in Dallas and in Frisco. He is located off of 75 & Forest Lane at Medical City Dallas Hospital, and his second location is off of Coit and 121 at Centennial Medical City. Last time I knew Dr. Autrey did prescribe Adipex. She is the BEST. She will do some tests if she thinks they're necessary to determine the cause of the weight. If your history doesn't suggest any problems though, she may not. She will MONITOR your health while you are on drugs and will help you lose weight. She is a great doctor and is very understanding. You will love her.
By the way, if Adipex is addictive and you call around asking for it, you won't be treated. Doctors and hospitals perceive this as an addict looking for a fix. Dr. Berutti won't necessarily put you on Adipex. She put me on one med and then changed it because she felt it was affecting my health. She will keep at it until you find a drug that works and won't hurt you. Also, I found that prescription drugs are MUCH CHEAPER than over the counter diet drugs.

Most Dr's probably won't perscribe it since it is a controlled substance. You can however go to Dr. Weight Control in Arlington or Dallas. You go every month for them to monitor your wight loss and the also put you on a diet to get you to you weight range. Here is the link to their site. Email me if you have questions. First off...don't listen to Roxana! I used adipex and had great success with it! I used it along with diet and exercise to help get that stubborn weight off that was just not coming off with only diet and exercise. Unfortunately, I was laid off and no longer have insurance so I can't afford to go to the doctor and get the adipex or I would be on it right now!! Good luck!
First things first... Roxana O that was WAY too harsh... your words were "Just suck it up"... What were you thinking by saying that!!
Now, to you L.. Adipex IMHO deffinately works when monitered. I had to have a complete hysto. after my second child was born. Did not have the time to lose baby-fat. Once anyone has hysto, or has reached meno, it gets harder to lose weight. I struggled with it for almost 7 years, but this pill has helped me to SLOWLY take off the weight plus watching diet and exercise. I am very sensitive to lots of side-effects, but with this particular pill I haven't been bothered by them (knock on wood). Just choose a doctor that will require you to have a monthly check-up before issuing a new refill. Good luck with the last 15 lbs. the last to go are always the ones that fight the hardest to stay on!! Chin up and God bless.

You may not want to hear this, but a snack of a morning and one in the afternoon,of apple, walnuts, almonds,etc. just a small handful , makes you not as hungry at a mealtime, and if you just eat a tiny bit smaller portions, not diet, and try to stay away from fast foods, take a walk around the block, or dance in the house to some music, I bet the 15 lb. will come off quicker than you think, and you won't be putting anything in your body that may have side effects. The pounds may come off a little slower, but then they stay off, and your body won't yo yo.
Why do people always think they know more than a doctor who has had countless amounts of training and practice? Why would you put your doctor in a position to do something they know has potential risks for you and won't work? There is NO weight loss miracle out there that surpasses clean eating and exercise! You are cheating yourself of great health, energy, and a lifestyle to model to your kiddos.
I don't mean to sound harsh, but this is the sickness of our healthcare system. See a GYN for your girl problems, that is what they know best!
