I have a ten year old daughter that wants to learn to play the guitar and I am looking for a teacher that can do either evening classes during the week (after 6:30) or weekend classes.

What can I do next?

My husband has been playing the guitar/mandolin/bass, for 13 years. He's 29, and we have 2 girls together. He is not a teacher, but said that he'd be willing to give her lessons. Our # is ###-###-#### if you're interested.

My son started at 9 years old (now almost 13) with David Clay at Dosher Music. David is phenonimal-he incorporated theory and reading music, as well as fun stuff and teaching songs-Bring him a song on your iPod or CD, and he will teach it to your child. He also plays Saxaphone, which has helped, as my son took up the sax for band!

Dosher Music is at Arbrook and Melear-hole in the wall strip center- right behind Super Target. Dosher also sells equipment and does repairs-I like them a lot better than Mr. E's repair by FAR.
