Has anyone actually tried/purchased the offer from the Mamasource Sponsor that claims you can loose 9lbs in 11 days? What do you think and has it worked? I'm just curious, but not enough to spend the money as I am working hard to get my "SEXY" back. That last baby was a doozie and did my body just wrong!

What can I do next?

I tried the diet, but it really didn't work for me. I lost about 5 pounds after 4 weeks. I also didn't feel like I was eating a healthy diet. Luckily, I was able to get my money back. I would not recommend it.

N.,
I haven't tried that, however, most "diets" claim to lose x-amount of pounds quickly, because it's water loss. If you want to lose weight you have to change your habits; eating and exercise regularly. But most importantly change the way you think... it's very hard to lose weight, I do understand, but if you want to keep it off, then you are going to have to make those changes for life.
Good luck!

I'd be careful about some of those...many are scams. I recently ordered a product not thru mamasource but a similar ad and they took my credit card and sell the number...huge hassle. I caught it fast but had to cancel my CC, etc.

Also, the best way to lose weight is to eat 1200 calories a day for 4-6 weeks then jump to 1500 calories. Basically break it down into 5-6 meals. 250 cal for BF, 100 cal snack, 300 cals for lunch, 100 cal snack, 350 cals for dinner and then 100 cal snack. If you don't want to count calories try weight watchers...it works wonders.

One of the few "gimicks" I am willing to try is the Jay Robb Fruit Flush Diet and that is b/c I love Jay Robb products and firmly believe in his stuff. http://www.jayrobb.com/

Good Luck...I know its easier said than done. I'm right there with you...I've had two babies in 3 years...they are super close in age! I'm ready to get my old body back too!

Do this now before you get my age where it is taking an act of God to get the weight off! I found these fast lost diets NEVER work. The only thing that has worked for me is the clean eating diet ... It's a great fat loss diet and it takes it off fast while teaching you and your family how to finally eat right. Weight loss is 80% diet, 20% exercise

this doesn't sound very safe. you might try a weight loss coach / group that can focus on your specific needs.

I've lost 16 pounds in 7 weeks and have kept it off through two weeks of NOT following my plan! My #2 is 7 months old and he did a doozie to my body, too!! NEVER thought I would be this size. Totally understand the former athlete hubby, too! (Funny how he is a 'former' and yet he feels that I need the coach, not him!)

I used weight watchers online and support items from Arbonne International to curb appetite, increase energy and increase metabolism, especially from 3- 5 PM when my daughter is snacking and late night.

WW is great but does not emphasize the positive things that I've learned about metabolism - we have a diabetic FIL in family that has to have high protein in morning and small meals throughout the day.

Arbonne's stuff is gluten and lactose free, no artificial flavors or sweetners, certified vegan, and is not meant to work 'fast' but can support you in low cal, high quality protein shakes (choc. and vanilla), chocolate or mocha 'taffy' chews, metabolism boosting energy drink, and detox tea to support your liver while you are processing out all the weight and estrogen that has been stored in it. The other item I've added is progesterone cream. Dr. Oz and Oprah have been talking about this a lot lately - I use it to protect from estrogen-fed cancers (I'm a lymphoma survivor), but it also helps to shed the cortisol cycle that adds belly fat.

I think it takes good old fashioned diet and exercise, but my metabolism was not the same, even with a good plan. Age works against our metabolism, and having kids seems to be against it, too!

Hope some of this helps - email me if you would like info on the Arbonne stuff.

Good luck! If you need a work out partner, maybe we should talk - I have not gotten that going yet. I'm in Carrollton.

Hi N.. I'm sorry I don't know anything about that diet, but since you are training so hard I wanted to give you a suggestion. My husband owns a sports nutrition store in plano. It's called Optimum Sports Nutrition and it's at 75 and Spring Creek. He sells everything you can imagine to assist in working out and weight loss. As long as you are not breast feeding he can really help you out.

Good luck!

I don't know anything about it. You might lose it, but I'm betting you will gain it right back and that this isn't healthy. I have a diet and support group ~ if you are interested email me.
