Just curious if anyone was able to get the metallic rose 3ds? I saw it advertised in the Toys'R'Us flyer yesterday and just assumed I could get one today but I was very, very wrong! My daughter saw the advertisement as well and that's the one she's hoping to get from Santa this year - but Santa has already bought her the flame red one! I was actually considering driving to a Toys'R'Us two hours away to get one since I was told they had a few in their inventory but thankfully I called first and was told they had none on the shelf =(
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that more become available - what do you ladies think?

It's only available at Toys'R'Us and according to the website it is available for shipping so I might just go that route!

Give her the flame red one, then give her either a "cover" (like a sticker which covers the whole front) or a sheet of smaller stickers with designs she loves to decorate it. She can totally personalize it that way. It's what my girls did and it worked out great!
It is not only available at Toys R Us. Toys R Us just has the best advertised deal right now (at least in my area). Gamestop and Target also have it. And I'm sure it's available elsewhere. If there is a Gamestop store near you, check there. The Gamestop near me said that they were getting quite a few in. I just checked gamestop.com and it is available and ready to ship there too.
I think you should have Pre Ordered it with GameStop and you would not have had this issue to begin with.
