Hi E.,

The first Father's Day my hubbie had, I bought some took some photos of my baby at the park and had them made into black and white pics and bought a frame. My hubbie still has that on his desk at work 10 years later! He'll love it!

you could frame some really great pics from when your baby was first born, i did this & my hubby loved it, i used one of the bigger frames that has room for like 5 pics & then wrote stuff on the matte

The year our daughter was born we made a hat for him. We got a plain ball cap and some fabric paint. Our son was 3 at the time so we did his hand print on one side and our daughter's foot print on the other. I wrote "world's best dad" or something like that on the front. My hubby loved it. We also made them for my dad and his dad, but they said "grandpa" on theirs.

Hope that helps.

I got a Fathers day card that said "Happy First Father's Day" and i Stamped her feet in Pink on the card. She was only a month old so it is something to remember.

Come to think about it....Where is that card?

My first Fathers Day we (my son and I) gave my husband a picture of myself and my son. We took then at Sears. He was pleasently surprised. It was my son's first pictures.

E., If he likes to eat candy, you could give him a candy cake with his favorite candies on it. I helped a friend make one last year. It's very cute and very different. If your interested just let me know. That is what my husband may get this year. You could make a card to go with it that says "Daddy, your so sweet".

I had a DVD made with sweet pics of the first year of my son and Daddy together. It inlcuded a slide show of all the pics from birth of our son up to 1 yr old. It was to a really sweet George Strait Song, Love without end amen. (about fathers and sons)
He was soo touched that he cried when he watched it and it is something he will cherish forever.
He still watches it now and again and cries everytime-and he isn't a crier. so sweet!
You can find places to do it online, but I have a lady who did mine that I knew. She did it for $70 and could ask her to do it for you if you are interested. Just let me know.

For my hubby, I took a pic I had of him playing with our son, made it black and white, then I faded it a little and wrote a really sweet poem on it with my Image Editor. I framed it and he has it up in his office. :)
I can do it for you in about 5 minutes if you email me a picture you like.
Also, on the morning of Father's Day, my son and I woke up before daddy and made him pancakes. I made smiley faces with blueberries and whipped cream then served him breakfast in bed. Ok, so our son was barely 1 at the time and didn't really "help" but he sure ate his share of whipped cream! :)
I'm not sure what I'll do this year but I'll come up with something!
