Wrinkle Creams/Reducers & Whitening Toothpaste

Without surgery, botox, or anything like that...what's the best wrinkle product you've used? I've tried so many different things, and I really can't tell much of a difference with any of them. I bought Olay Pro-X and I think it probably helped...I was just wondering if there's anything better out there that I can buy. I'm 26 and I'm starting to notice more wrinkles, and I heard that being proactive about it is the best way to handle them.

Also, all toothpastes these days claim to be whitening--but again, I'm not noticing any great effects. I am sick of using the whitestrips and all of that, and if there's a toothpaste that will do the trick......or something else that works that i dont have to spend time wearing two hours a day or whatever that'd be great.

J.,
I also use Enfuselle. I could count the wrinkles that were gone around my eyes just 3 days later. Everyone says I look at least 10 years younger than I am. That's even though I have very fair skin and go water skiing every chance I get.
Let me know if you are interested.

Wringle creams--without a doubt--Mary Kay's Timewise line. We just won the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval :) There's also products to target certain areas and some products have INSTANT results that, with continued use, have permanent results.

Also, hydration is key. Make sure you drink plenty of water.

Once you have a wrinkle it's not going away. Think of wrinkles like worn out rubber bands. Once the elastic is shot, it's shot.

Most creams minimize the appearance of wrinkles by hydrating the skin. That's all they're legally allowed to claim.

White teeth: baking soda and peroxide. It's cheap, it works, and most dentists won't tell you about it because then no one would spend hundreds to whiten their teeth, would they?

Hi J.,

I use Sei Bella Timeless for antiaging and also their Eyewear. The Eyewear got rid of the crow's feet around my eyes and the Timeless has halted anymore wrinkles and probably removed some. I wear glasses so I hadn't really noticed the crow's feet were gone until someone mentioned it. (I'm blind as a bat without my glasses) It was about 6 month's after I started using it that someone commented. I have used it for the last six years and have not seen another wrinkle around my eyes.

I use a whitening toothpaste that contains Tea Tree oil. Tea Tree oil is an antibacterial and an antifungal so no plaque builds...thus the teeth stay whiter..

God bless,

M.

You're best bet with avoiding wrinkles (and don't forget some of this is genetic - your skin is a lot like your parents no matter what you do) is a good sunscreen and avoid smoke (first hand and second hand). Spend a lot of time in the sun (wind and weather) and you'll look like a piece of leather.
As for tooth whitening - your teeth have a natural color. You can't get any whiter than your natural color. What whitening products do is remove stains from food. Coke (dark sodas), coffee, blueberries, smoking, chewing tobacco, etc will stain your teeth and whitening agents will remove/reduce those stains. You can create the illusion of whiter teeth by using darker lipstick. If you want a simple whitener - try brushing with baking soda and peroxide.

I absolutely love BeautiControl's Tight, Firm, and Fill. It is a creme that you put on your face once or twice a day before you put on your moisturizer. I compare it to Botox in a jar! I have been using it since I was 29 (32 now) and I too try to be proactive against wrinkles. Feel free to send me a message if you need help finding it. Good luck finding the perfect product!

I just got back from the dermatologist and he said anything with retinol in it will help with winkles and sun spots. I actually went because of sun spots. I have used sunscreen on my face for years but still see the effect of the sun. I was told one of the biggest mistakes we make is not reapplying sunscreen throughout the day. Also lots of water. I was also reading about grapeseed oil. It is suppose to be amazing for your skin and it is chemical free. I have been using olive oil at night for removing make-up but I am going to switch to grapeseed oil and see if theres any difference.

For whitening your teeth try mixing strawberries and baking soda together into a paste and brush your teeth. Since I have bridges (never got all my adult teeth) I can only go so white or it will not match the bridges so this works for me.

I use Enfuselle products. I've been using these products since 1998 and my skin looks better today than in 1998.

Drink water. If you don't already know, water hydrates the skin.

I use Mentadent toothpaste and it helps keep my teeth white. Drinking tea and coffee in moderation will help too.

I so swear I was getting on here to ask ab wrinkle
creams/serum !!! Crazy! Lol great minds must think alike! Well I loved Avon with bohylurox - theyd iscontinued it. I've been using Roc deep
crease, can't tell much butnits gotta be better than nothing right!?
Whittening is best when you have custom trays made by a dentist and use the syrynge whitenning-I like saphire-I'm a dental
assistant-it's ab 100-150$ to get trays and first kit and so much pertube there after and does make teeth sensitive but works amazing! Or if you have about 500$ you can do the instant treatmet under the light in office and maintain it with trays......I have seen it use so much you get an unnatural shade of white-we call Hollywood white-I wouldn't mind having it lol I'm just not dedicated enough! And peroxide is the main
ingredient nut if too much is used it will eat ur
gums and receed them exposing your roots...be careful
