Ok so our 15 year old washer is on it's way out. After searching and searching I think that we have widdled the field down to the Kenmore HE5t any LG or Bosch, and the Maytag Epic. Do you have one of the above or have experiance with them? What do/did you love, like or hate? Please HELP! Thanks!

So What Happened?

Thank you all so very much! We have decided to go with the LG. We were able to find the best deal on it at Best Buy via price matching guarentees.

We have the LG front loader and we love it. Have the dryer too. Haven't had any problems with them for years and they clean great.

Consumer reports rates the LG (front loader) the best, which is why we chose that one. So far I have been really happy with them. Nothing bad to say about either one. My clothes are so much cleaner!!!

My best friend has the LG front load high capacity energy efficient washer/dryer combo and I've used them several times when staying at her house (she's in Houston), and OMG I love them!!!! My hubby, daughter and I currently live with my mom and stepdad, but when we get a place of our own, that'll be the washer/dryer I want.

They are easy to use(especially since I wasn't used to anything but old fashioned washer/dryer controls), despite the small amount of water used the clothes were very clean and smelled heavenly, and I know it's corny but I love the sounds they make.

I have the frontloading Maytag Neptune washer and dryer. I've had these at least 4 yrs, probably more. I love them. I would buy the same set again. I do use the HE detergent but it is not any more expensive that others. Someone always has a deal on detergent and I just stock up when I see a deal.

I have one of the LG front loaders (I don't remember the model number, but the regular price was around 799 back in June). I like it a lot--no complaints so far.

I just got the LG front load high capacity energy efficient washer/dryer combo on the pedestals. I have ZERO complaints. It uses less water, is quieter, love the place you add soap/bleach/downey... the controls are easy to understand. My clothes smell cleaner, fresher and I don't think that's a coincidence. They're an INCREDIBLE investment!
