I also use Barnes and Noble on line. I've used independent sites that I found by googling "used books." I shopped the sites until I found what I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. I found several books for less than $5. I've also found books for $1 or so. I don't remember their names now. I think Abe Books was one.

bookfinder.com isn't as streamlined as some other sites, but is a great source for comparing which stores have the book.
I always check www.half.com first. It has been a HUGE savings for me over the past 10 years!
