This question is for those WDW regulars. I know this will take some time on your part, but what's your best laid-out plan while you're in Magic Kingdom? Where do you eat breakfast? Where's the best character places to eat? Where do you go first? What rides do you FAST-PASS? Where do you eat lunch? What parades can you absolutely not miss? Tell me your schedule every time you go! Thanks in advance!!

What can I do next?

I have little ones that like to do the kiddie rides. Basically, if you look at touringplans.com, we do a modified version of dumbo or die touring plans.

We eat before the park. I am there at park opening. At rope drop, we go straight to fantasy land. on the way, my husband veers off an gets a fast pass for buzz light year. He meets us at Peter Pan. Then we do Dumbo (those are the two where the lines really pile up fast, but I think the new Dumbo is better now). We then do all the rides in fantasy land. (carousel, snow white, mickey's philaharmonic, winnie the pooh, tea cups, everything but small world) The winnie the pooh used to have a huge, annoying line that would need to be fast passed, but they have changed it and the line is very interactive and fun now, so we wait. Somewhere in there, we would be allowed to get another fast pass, and my husband would go get three for space mountain (only have three people big enough to ride and then get the rest for the fast pass line at the princess meet and greet). I pack snack and drinks and we have them on the go. After we are through with fantasy land, we go to tomorrowland. We go through fast pass at buzz light year, then do the tomorrowland rides (tomorrowland transit, space needle, laugh floor, etc). This puts us about lunch time. We'll ride space mountain real quick (this is usually our return window time). As I go to Cosmic Ray's for lunch and stand in line, my husband will go get fast passes for splash mountain. We then eat lunch then head over and do small world, immediatelyl followed by Haunted Mansion. Then we try to make the show at the front of the castle. If we can fit in another few rides, it's usually in adventureland - jungle cruise or carpets and/or Pirates. About this time it's time for another fast pass, and my husband will go get one from Thunder Mountain. Then we get a seat for the 3:00 parade. After the parade we finish out the rides in adventureland. After that we go do the princess meet and greet through the fast pass line. My husband will go collect another set of fast passes to something. Now we're at dinner. We like to go to Tony's for dinner. After dinner, we gauge how much longer the kids (or most likely my husband since he gets cranky first) are going to make it. An early night, means we stake out a place for the night parade and fireworks. It we're going to stay for the second night parade, we then go hit anything we've missed or repeat things that the kids want to do again. Then go watch fireworks and parade.

What rides do we fast pass: Every ride possible that has a fast pass. Whenever we are able to get another fast pass - my husband is getting one.

Parades: the main day parade. The main night parade. We don't usually do the little mini parades.

Anaheim or Orlando? I mention because the parks vary.. so you may want advice based on the specific one you are attending.. :) for example, I am very familiar with the Anaheim but not Orlando..

The park is a large circle so I would start on one side and work your way around (this way you won’t tire too fast). The only character meals in MK are the Crystal Palace and Cinderella’s Royal Table, it's easier to get into the Crystal Palace.

I would get a fast pass for Peter Pans adventure and the Pooh Bear ride depending on what time of year you are going. Right now fast passes are not needed.

I like the night time parade since everything is lit up but that starts around 8 or so (not sure how late your children will stay awake).

Since we are local we don’t go for the entire day (I am 20 minutes away) so I can’t tell you where to start. I would check the map and decide what you really want to ride on and which characters your kids want to meet. I do recommend the new Dumbo ride and play area, that is my daughters favorite (she is 6).

Also I have never had bad food there even at the fast places.

We didn't go with tiny tots and weren't interested in spending time at character breakfasts or eating breakfast in MK at all. We went twice, the kids were 5 and 9, and then 8 and 12. Breakfast was a poptart in our room while we alternated in the shower. We usually at lunch at the burger place. We did do the character dinner at Crystal Palace both times, and then usually ate dinner at Epcot the rest of the time, wanting to try to cuisines at the different pavilions. Our days at Disney were spent trying to get on as many rides as possible, characters meetings and parades were not high on our list. We also stayed at the parks all day, we didn't do the going back to the hotel for a rest and a swim thing, these were our two family vacations ever, we never have a budget for trips, so we weren't spending all that money to rest and swim. We did it Extreme Disney style :)

my only advice is to take snacks & bottled water. i even packed sandwiches. while waiting in the long lines we would eat our sandwich. the food prices are so high plus take up extra time. so we normally only would eat dinner in the park & maybe an ice cream.
