I just purchased a george forman grill and am loving it. I thought it would be nice to have some recipes or favorite way to use it since I am just learning the basics. Thanks to everyone who participates. I really appreciate the input.

What can I do next?

i like to make chicken quesadillas on it. To save time, b/c I'm almost always in a hurry to make dinner ... I buy a rotisserie chicken at the grocery store. Use the breast meat - shred that into bite size pieces. I take a tortilla ... I sprinkle some shredded cheese (i use that Mexican cheese mix) ... add chicken/sprinkle fajita seasoning on the chicken... add tomatoes/green chilies from Rotel can (drained)... add more cheese on top.... and then I add the top tortilla. then I transfer this to the grill and close it.... and wait until the tortillas start to brown a little bit.

Use a spatula to transfer the cooked quesadilla to a plate ... let it cool a bit. I use a pizza slice cutter to cut it into quarters. Serve with some sour cream and salsa. We also serve black beans on the side of this dish.
yum! so easy!!

We've also actually made grilled fajitas --- Cut chicken breast meat and/or beef into slices; marinate with fajita marinade for at least 30 mins in fridge. I place the meat on to the hot grill and sprinkle fajita seasoning while it's on the grill. Close the grill and wait until no longer pink inside. Oh so yummy and fast!!

I don't use mine very often, but I have found that salmon cooks very well on the foreman grill. I usually marinate the salmon lightly in garlic & balsamic vinegar & dill, then cook it on the george foreman.

We love burgers on the grill. But we add some onions and green chilies to the hamburger meat then make them into patties, then after they are done add some cheese we like the pepperjack with these. Then make your burger just how you like it!! Enjoy!! Good question too!!

I am glad that you posted this, as I wil lbe excited to see what others write. One of our fav. things to cook on the GF grill isn't a recipe but to grill onions and certain veggies(squash, zucc. etc.) We really like the onions-we use just a touch on olive oil, on the onion, and salt and pepper-they are so good. We too like to make quesadillas and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches as well.

Honestly, and maybe this is weird, but I've found the my George Forman grill makes fabulous paninis (with very cool grill marks, too). I buy a loaf of foccacia and load it up with various toppings of choice, slap it on the Forman and in a few minutes, I have a tasty panini. Obviously this can get very unhealthy quickly, depending on your toppings, but I've even made a panini with melted skim mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil from my garden. Fabulous.
