hi, we're coming to town on friday and i think i have packed too much! i know the forecast is saying isolated or scattered storms for a few days next week i'm just curious if it's warm enough for shorts while out and about or will i be in jeans most of the time. we're staying in the black forest so i know it will be a little cooler out there at night but my days are troubling me. thanks alot.

What can I do next?

Today was really hot, it's been the exception to this last week's weather though. Even on our coldest days though I've been wearing capris and shorts, but nights are cold and rainy. I would include shorts for sure, it is very hot during the day even the cloudy ones! Hope this helps!

HI T., I'm in a t-shirt and jeans today. If you're in the mountains, though, definitely expect to layer. You'll need a jacket or hoodie/fleece at the very least for mornings and evenings. Have fun!

Warmly,
S.

forecast is low 70s, 50 at night less than 30% chance of precipitation. that's a little cool for me for shorts! here we regularly have a chance of afternoon thunderstorms all summer long because of the mountains - but they pass very quickly. bring a light windbreaker with a hood and a sweater for nights and you'll be fine!

I'm sure you'll use shorts. Light layers are good when in doubt. It's usually fairly warm by now, but it's been a little cooler and rainy. The elevation is a little higher in that area which can make it cooler, but not extremely so. Again, layers are great!
P.S. Have fun!
