Mine is to set up my art studio in the breakfast nook. I am going to pick up a paint brush in the near future for the first time in over two years! I just sold a paining and landed a great location to show my work and my inventory is low low low so its time to paint paint paint. So for all of you who have been known to waste your valuable time on this site and know where I'm coming from: if any of you notice me on this site today tell me to get off. I promised myself I would not so much as get on the site today but did it without even thinking. So I'm asking for accountability. (yes, I've tried asking them to delete my account, but to no avail. in the future I may set a new password into something I'll never remember so that I can't log on) Ha ha. I love hate Mamapedia.com.

So What Happened?

ahhh furniture moved, easel brought in from garage, white canvas waiting for me all before noon. Now what the hell to paint? Thats a problem for another day. Guess I'll spend the rest of my day on MP. Just kidding. Its to the gym and then clean house, and maybe spend some quality time with my kiddos. I'm still not supposed to be on here today even to write this. I'm so weak! Last time we had a black out and I couldn't get on the computer I got so much done.

Think of 3 impossible things before breakfast. :)

Not really joking!

And accomplish at least 1 possible thing.

I worked at the Y this morning, and the kids came with me. Then we spent the afternoon at the museum and planetarium. Now I am getting supper ready. Tonight we may just stay home and watch a movie, maybe do a little laundry.

For today? I've done most by now, still some to do (and yet, here I am on mamapedia). :P Today: finish the week's laundry and put it all away, go to the beach with my boys and some friends and spend most of the day there. Empty and clean the fridge/freezer, clean the inside of the microwave, clean under the kitchen sink. Cook dinner. Make next week's menu and shopping list. Watch a movie and hang out with the family. Reckon I'll go tackle the sink now....it's nearly 4pm.

*Getting a run in. Probably won't happen though. Open house for my middle schooler when the temps cool off later this evening.

*Also, I want to get my son's schedule changed (from "regular" Lit/comp to "Honors"). It was supposed to be that way, but I didn't notice the lack of "Honors" designation at the chaotic open house last night... so now I am stuck waiting on the probably swamped guidance office to get back to me, as they probably curse me for being "that" parent, who didn't take advantage of the opportunity at last night's open house.

*Getting my husband's car back from the shop. (This is part of why I was in la-la land at open house last night). He had to get a jump to get home from work (he was supposed to meet us at the open house)... and then called to tell me he was dropping his car off at the auto shop and to come get him. As we were heading into the open house. Then, he was rushing us constantly, because he was exhausted and was ready to go eat and get home. :( Apparently it was the starter, and now, $475 later, I am carless (he has mine) and I am waiting or the shop to bring me his car. (Yes, they actually do this for us, they are AWESOME). But I am in limbo, waiting for transportation, to take daughter to HER open house, and get some other errands done that I intended to do this morning, but having no caaarrrrrrrrrrrr...... :/ They just called, and should be here within the hour.

*Dinner is already in the crock pot, but I still have a few more loads of laundry I would like to get done today.

And yeah... I need to get off the computer, too. But I keep popping over here to check email, hoping against hope to have something from the guidance office.

My goal for today is to hide my messy house from everyone until at least 5pm. I have a set of 1 year old twins tearing through and chewing up bookmarks, puzzles are being pulled down, books everywhere, the laundry on the floor that was in a neat pile is all over the living room now... Getting used to toddlers again is an adventure!

Edit article, finish cleaning fridge (almost done!), do load of laundry, pack for vacation, drop off keys w/ house sitter. How this all is going to be achieved, I have no idea.
