Ok moms my 1 yr old has slept all night for a while. All of a sudden he is up 2 or 3 times a night. The first time he takes a bottle and goes right back to sleep the second time he is up for a while. He whines and cries for a while. I need some help on getting him to sleep all night. I hope this is just a phase he is going through.
You think maybe he's getting some gas during the night? Maybe try giving him some gas drops before you put him down for the night. Good luck.
I would not give him a bottle in the middle of the night. Go in and shhhh him, pat him and tell him to lay down. DOn't pick him up. It may take a night or two but he will catch on.
I would consider whether there have been any changes that have caused him to be a little off, a move, different caregiver, etc. Also may want to consider cutting out a nap or putting him to bed a bit later.
Put a bottle with water where he can get it from the crib or toddler bed and make sure you don't actually let him "get up," make sure he knows that he can be awake but not getting up or playing. It is probably a phase and should not last too long but you have to guard against starting up bad behaviors, i.e. letting him crawl in bed with you so YOU can get some sleep, lol.
Could he be teething? You might just try giving him three teething tablets. My son is a great sleeper, but about two weeks before he would get a new tooth he woke up several times during the night.
