So I decided to check out pinterest to see what all the hubbub was about. It told me I had to "request an invite". I did this last week and still haven't heard anything. Anyone ran into this? How long does it take to be accepted?

I hopped on my Facebook and posted on my wall "can one of my friends please send me a Pintrest invite?"
And they did!

You have to have a friend invite you. If you PM me with your e-mail I try to send you one. It's addicting though!
I requested an invite about 1/2 year ago before it got really big, but I never got anything. A friend ended up sending me one and I got hers immediately. Ask a friend or send me your email and I'll send you an invite.
Your friends can invite you. I requested an invite & it took about a week.
I don't know if I had a friend invite me or not but I was on the wait list for about 2 weeks. Then it just popped up that I had been accepted. We just had our first two recepies from pinterest in the last two days and my whole menu is planned off of it this week. The first two were sooooo yummy. My hubby is super happy. Nice and easy way to change things up. I love it!
