My husband needs to have the big "V" as we are done with the breeding phase of our lives. Sensitive procedure and we'd like to find a good doctor in San Antonio (NE side would be most convenient). Can anyone suggest a urologist in this area?

What can I do next?

You can try Urology Of San Antonio, but they are located in the medical center. They may have a satellite office near you.

Yes, I highly recommend Dr Lewis Russell on Village Dr. He also has an office in Stone Oak area. His NE phone # is ###-###-####. My husband had no problems an dI work in a medical office and we refer patients to him all the time. Good Luck, Just remember to pamer your husband for a couple of days, don't let him go macho on you, saying he feels great and then tries to do to much, stand for to long and his manhood starts to swell. Just have him lay around the house with a bag of frozen peas on his privates and he will new go to go in a few days.

Dr. David Talley, he is wonderful! He is with Urology SA and in the NE office (off of Topperwien). I went in with my husband for the visit (didn't go into the procedure room) and he spoke with both of us. He is a Christian if that matters to you. We got his name as a referral from several people at church and now when we talk about it, Dr. Talley is a favorite among a lot of people.

My OB gave me Dr. Timothy Hvalinka who is in the same practice.

One little hint - take ice packs with you so as soon as he gets in the car so he can put ice on immediately! It really makes a difference.

Good luck!

Dr. Sepulveda of San Antonio Urologists. Amazing and the whole proceedure took fifteen minutes. I was in the waiting room watching Jepardy and never even got to see the final answer...Hubby on frozen peas for about two days and that was the end of it!

I do not know of any urologists in SanAntonio, but I had my tubes burned and was home the same day. Dr. Agular was wonderful. I highly refer her if you and your husband can not find a doctor for him to have the procedure.

best of luck to you both.
