I noticed someone recommended Bailey Lee. Do NOT go to Dr. Lee. If you must go and you are an adult, fine; maybe he won't misdiagnose you. But if you ever need a retina specialist for a child or baby, do NOT see Dr. Lee even if the pediatric ophthalmologist in his group practice refers you to him. He is not a pedi retinal specialist. He misdiagnosed my infant son's detached retina as a stable vitreous hemorrhage for months, told us to observe it and defer surgery, until it was too late to save the vision in that eye.

I know of a very good opthamologist at the Willowbrook Methodist Hospital, located on Hwy. 249 and close to FM 1960. His name is Dr. Joel Cohen and he is part of a an outstanding group of doctors. Hope that everything goes well for you.

Hi H.,
I know a good Retina & Vitreous doctor her name is Dr. Lindsey Harris,M.D. she's with the Houston Eye Associates. She has an office at the Memorial City professional building ###-###-####. Her main office is the Gramecy location ###-###-####. My retina detached over 16 years ago due to a car accident and it was repaired. My retina detached again a year ago and I wasn't aware, now it's too late it can't be repaired. So unfortunitely I am facing a long road ahead of possibly loosing my eye. The good news to my story is I will be able to were a shell over my eye to match my good eye because my eye has shrunk due to my eye not producing fluid. Please get your eye checked out don't wait before it's too late.

Good Luck!
CeCe

I recommend Dr Bailey Lee, who comes highly recommended to me from several sources. He specializes in retina and vitreous,at Houston Eye Associates... He practises at three locations - at Memorial City and the HEA building on Gramercy near downtown and Sugarland. - Find him at houstoneyeassociates.com . You can even make an appointment online. I have been going to him for three years. - Details are on the website.
