so i posted a while back that my 6 yr old had failed school hearing tests, we have had several appointments about this issue. more hearing tests, ent visits... and happy to report that the hearing loss was due to a fluid filled ear. that spontaneoulsy resolved on its own. ent said to keep my eye on it and if hes excessively yelling or has issues again to call her and make an appt with her audiologist for testing. as this could happen again. and she wants to stay on top of it.

What can I do next?

Ask for an ENT/ORL doc referral. Get tubes if needed. If it's backed up enough to change their hearing it's enough to do tubes for a while.

So glad for you! Keep an eye out and get a tympanogram dine from time to time. This is an excellent way to determine if the fluid is still gone.
