Wasn't that on an episode of Seinfeld once? Elaine had to stock up because they were being discontinued? Sorry. I've never used one, but your question just made me think of that show!

Only used it once.. I still have 2 (because I had to buy a box of 3).. It was nice not to have to deal with condoms, but I found it to be awkward.. I hear it's something you kinda need to use several times to really get it down (insertion and the such), but I wasn't that impressed. I went over to Paraguard and L. it..

I had no idea that they still make those. I used them way back in the 80's. They were alright. Never had problems and I could usually bear down and get them use and did not even use the string.

OMG do they still make those? I used them occasionally 20+ years ago. I remember reading that a certain percentage of ER visits around that time were for women who couldn't get the sponge out.

I used Today Sponges for years when they first came out back in the '80's. I loved them, very effective BC and no hormones.
