Hello Moms, I live the DFW area want to plan a fun overnight trip somewhere for my husbands birthday. Any suggestions? We love antique shopping, off the wall stuff, new adventures, etc. We go to Oklahamo to the casino on a regular basis, so I would like to find something new to do.

What can I do next?

have you been to the riverwalk in the city? It is right there by the bombing site. The place where they do concerts the ford center, toby keiths bar and grill(be prepared for a wait) and bass pro shops. Its not to far from penn square mall and babies r us. What about arkansas shouldn't be to far. San anotnion is really romantic too.

My friend and I were planning a road trip this past Summer to see lots of Oklahoma and I got the fun part of making the travel suggestions. I gathered lots of brochures and planned 3 different trips, one to the okc and southern area, including Turner Falls and a bit East and West of I-35 almost to the state line, one to Western and Northern Western Oklahoma including the Pan Handle to see more native american and natural geographic type things, and one that went East to Tulsa and all around North Eastern Oklahome over to I-40. My mom got sick and died so we didn't get to go but the plan is to try next Summer.

We choose the one to OKC and area South because we found more interesting things to do with the 4 kids between us.

Jefferson, Texas is one of our favorite places to go. Antique shopping, history tours, steamship rides, plays, antebellum homes, plus Shreveport is only 30 minutes or so away if you want a night on the town at the casinos.
