Sticker Book?

Ok, back when I was a kid, sticker books were all the rage...we basically used photo albums that had the pages that were sticky all over, with the cellophane that lifted off and we put our collections of stickers in there. Well, my son loves stickers too and much to my dismay...my husband is letting him stick his stickers on his window in the car. Well today, the car is getting new tint and all stickers are coming off (yay!) so I said I would get him a sticker book to keep his stickers in. Only thing is, I can't find one. Anywhere. All I can find is books of stickers (pages and pages of stickers) or story books that also come with stickers (like Disney, etc). I just want an empty book for him to put various stickers in that has pages that are thicker than just paper. I even tried to just get an empty photo book like we used to use, but all the photo albums are now the ones where you slide the photos in little sleeves, not the sticky page kind. Anyone know where I could find something for this purpose?

What can I do next?

If you can't find a photo album you can always try buying a hard cover sketch book. although you won't be able to take the stickers off once you put them in there. It could work?

i had the same problem. I ended up getting a 3 ring binder and using the clear plastic sleeves. It works pretty well and my daughter can take most of the stickers on and off.

The scrapbook idea was what I had in mind, too. Or, you could get sheets of cardstock laminated and make a book--hole punch and tie together with string. That way, he could take the stickers off. My girl is only 19 months and she loves stickers already! I am teaching her that they do NOT belong on the furniture, windows, etc. She is allowed to put them on paper, on her toybox, or on her body (that's her favorite). Oh, and if you really want to find those "old fashioned" photo albums (I used to love them too, for my collections: stamps, postcards, comic strips, etc) you might find them at a thrift store or yardsales.

I got a huge Curious George sticker book at Costco. They have a bunch of travel books, vacation books, etc. for kids and that is where I got this one. Check it out.

I ran into the same problem, so I bought cheap scrapbook albums with plain white pages. There are spiral bound ones with a cardboard cover that you can write on ("My Sticker's") and decorate. My girls love sticking their stickers all over the pages, and I love it because they're not sticking them to furniture any more! Check out a Michaels or Joanne store's scrapbook area if you have those stores near you.

If he doesn't mind peeling them off and sticking them on the windows, why not get him a journal that he can stick his stickers right on the pages.

You can probably find albums with those sticky pages at a Goodwill store. I've gotten a few to use for receipes. If you wan the kind he can actually stick the stickers to try a sketch pad. I got some at Target. It's a spiral bound book and pages are thicker than regular paper. If I remember correctly, I found them by the stationary and school supplies down the isle from the greeting cards.

Hi!

I gave my daughters a small sketch pad/doodle pad to put their stickers into. They love it, except when they want tried to peel them off!

Hope this helps!
