Stains from Rubber Mulch

My daughter's day care has rubber mulch on the playground and it is staining all of her pants. Any advice on how to get the stains out? I've tried washing things 2-3x with Oxy and Shout but no luck.

What can I do next?

I don't know how to get the stains out, but maybe it would be easier all around if you just sent her to day care in play pants only, so it doesn't matter if they get stained. You could keep a 'nice' pair of pants in the car, and switch her out of them when you pick her up.

Try asking other parents or staff at the school. Either someone has the answer, or everyone is in the same boat you are and you can make a case for different playground material next time around!

Try soaking & scrubbing in Wisk detergent after pre-treating with OxyClean Baby spray. This helped a bit for my daughter's pants, but unfortunately the stains didn't totally come out. I learned to just dress her in dark jeans and dark colored sneakers on preschool days. Imagine my dismay when my daughter came home from her first day at that school with black smudges all over her pretty white & pink sneakers! Good luck!
