Hi. I wanted to get some feedback about Snow! Ice! at Gaylord Palms. Please let me know if you have been and if you liked it. Was it worth the money? I have 2 girls a 3yo and a 5yo. We live in FL and my 5yo says she wants to see snow, is this a good substitute? Is it appropriate for these ages? Enough to do?

thanks for fedback.

What can I do next?

We are going to see ICE! at the Gaylord Texas. Everyone we talked to (3 people) said it is SO worth it and kids that age will definitely enjoy it.

We are also going to get tickets for the Kung Fu Panda snow hill there. Living in Texas we don't see too much snow so it'll be alot cheaper to get tickets than to fly to Colorado or New England for snow :)

We just went to snow as part of a birthday party, and I was a bit disappointed. The temp in the room was supposed to be 50-55 (felt warmer), and at that temp the snow is melting, and actually all packed down and hard (and slippery!). It was almost impossible to make snowballs. Of course my 4 year old had a great time, and I will give kudos to the 68 ft. slide, that was fun :) all in all it was OK. I have heard that Ice is always really impressive, so I'll have to check that out next time.

I took my daughter 4 years ago when she was 5. We didn't do the fake snow but we did do the ice exhibit. It was awesome! As far as being worth the money..it was so long ago I can't remember how much it costs! :) lol but it was def worth going once to see. We did also try the outdoor ice skating and I wouldn't recommend it. (unless it has changed)... when we went the ice was melting alot and .... it just wasn't a good experience.

I don't live near Florida, but we have a Gaylord National Harbor here in Maryland. We go to ICE! every year...well, since we discovered it last year :). We buy tickets as soon as we are able to because it is pricey, but SO worth it. IMHO. Some people may disagree, but it's amazing to see and something different to do :).

I don't know about the snow part...but if we get too much this winter I'd be happy to send some your way!
