Does anybody know where I can buy dresses and blouses and shirts that might fit my big boobs without swallowing the rest of my body? I tried a dress on yesterday in a size large (largest they had) that fit so cutely, except for the boobage. Sometimes my bra can make the difference, but not often enough for me to count on it.

(I am familiar with stores for big bodies and with the concept of buying for the largest body part and having the rest of the garment tailored to fit, so I don't need those suggestions.)

TIA

What can I do next?

I'm big on top but normal in the waist and hips. White House Black Market works well for me. I am a 36DD, and I'm 6' tall and a size 10, if that helps.

If you are smaller (shorter), how about http://www.bostonproper.com/ ? They are forever sending me catalogs, and most of the models seem to have a good amount of cleavage. My only issue with it is that their pants are nowhere near long enough for me (I need a 36" inseam at a minimum). I love their stuff, though. Super cute.

I've had great success with New York and Co blouses and button up shirts, I fit a large and am a 38DD, they go in at the waste and provide for a flattering shape that I don't get from button up shirts at most other stores. Not sure about the dresses but they do have some cute ones. =)

I love Dress Barn for dresses. No matter what size you are, you can find a good dress. I have many dresses from there. I also like the dresses at Ann Taylor Loft and Macy's. I have a smaller body but my boobs are huge! I have long legs and am short in height so it makes it tough to buy shirts and dresses. I haven't bought many new shirts recently. I don't like the style right now. Old Navy had cute clothes too....I haven't been shopping lately. :(

Good luck!

When something fits perfectly in all but one place (usually the boobs and arms on me) I get it tailored.

Kohl's stuff fits me well as do some of the blouses from Target, but I have to try them on.
