I'm looking for a great family day at the pumpkin patch. We have just moved to the area and need to start some new family traditions. We have always loved going to the pumpkin patch. Please fill me in on where to go?!

What can I do next?

Carolyn's Country Cousins Pumpkin Patch in Liberty, MO. The phone # is ###-###-#### and the address is 17607 NE 52nd St. Also Faulkner Pumpkin in Lee's Summit is great too. This is the last year for it in LSMO though...next year they are moving to Raymore. Might want to check it out! It's off View High Dr and Chipman. VERY easy to find! Good luck where-ever you go and have a great time!!

We just went to Johnson Family Farms at 177th and Holmes.
They were great! The trip was organized with a lot of room for the kids to play and have fun.
There is a slide for the older kids and a seperate play system with sand area for the younger kids and it is fenced off so they don't get hurt by the older kids running.
They have two tractors that take you on a ride to the actual pumpkin patch where you can pick your pumkin. They provided a knife for the parents to cut them from the vine and a glove to clean any dirt off.

Inside the green house there are tables if you want to eat lunch if you bring your own, or there is a consession stand where you can purchase your own.
We also saw goats, chickens, a mama pig and her babies, baby chicks, horses and a couple of cows.
I have 4 children and have made several trips to just about every pumpkin patch in the area and this one was the best one by far and the cleanest. There are real concerned about the safety of everyone and making sure everyone has a good time.
I hope this helps
T.

Johnson Farms is awesome! We have made them our family tradition for the past four years. They are off of Holmes road around 175th.

My sister-in-law tried out a bunch of pumpkin patches, but has been going to the same one for the last seven years...Carolyns Country Cousins. We started the tradition with her family last year and plan to continue going there. It is fabulous! Lots of things to do for the kids--little maises, hayrides, petting zoo, hayrides, little theater, great pumpkin donuts too! www.carolynscountrycousins.com

I used to live in Weston and the Red Barn Farm was a blast! There's also Vaughn's Apple Orchard across the street. They have a pumpkin patch. Deanna Rose Farmstead has a big pumpkin thing. Just do a good search for them and look at all the activities they offer to go with! Carolyn's Country Cousin's is supposed to be great too!

The KC Pumpkin Patch is great. We just went last weekend and my son and our friends had a blast. They have all sorts of stuff to do for all ages. It is located in Gardner, KS, not sure where you live but it's definitely worth the drive from anywhere. Here's the link to their website...

Hi K.,

You might want to take a look at the Deanna Rose Farm, I am not sure if they do it every year, but they usually have a Pumkin Patch and the animals and they have a small entrance fee, usually is free.
Have a great time,

Our family loves going to Johnson farm (on Holmes Rd), faulkner farm(in Lee's Summit on View High Dr.and Chipman) or Deanna Rose Farm( on 135th and Switzer). They are all a great family pumpkin patch traditions. I'm not sure where you are at in the Kansas City area, but Johnson Farm is worth the drive they have the whole farm experiance, from belgin horses, to hayrides, and a huge corn maze its fun for the whole family, you actually get to pick pumpkins out of a patch with a wheelbarral, they also have storytime with the parents as teachers group. But beware it does get very busy on weekend afternoons. go early.
