Hello...I'm on the market for a new Pedi. I'm looking for someone with later hours. I found a Dr. Hoda Gabriel but do not know anything about her. I was hoping that someone could give me some info. on her. Or perhaps recommend a Dr. in the Northwest/Medical area. If you could please help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you

I have taken my sisters kids there and I hated it. The wait is forever and when you do see the doctor you can't understand what she said. I use Dr. Laura Davis for all my chidren and shes wonderful! Shes in the medical center area, her number is ###-###-####, Good luck finding a new doctor :)

i don't know this doctor, but i can recommend a great pedi. his name is dr. david popp (pronounced pope). he is the director for the methodist call a nurse program. he is fabulous according to both parents and ER nurses alike (if you really want to know if a doc is good, ask ER nurses). his office is in leon springs, off i-10. the number is ###-###-####. we have been to another pedi with our boys where appt times were not honored and we would be forced to wait an hour or longer past our appt time with little or no apology and the standard i'm a doctor, you wait attitude. dr. popp's office sees you at your appt time, the office staff is great and his nurses are super. they return calls promptly, see patients that day if needed, i can't say enough good things about them.

hope you give them a call.

How late are you needing the clinic to be open?

I would definitely choose a pediatrician that is part of a group. Then, in case of emergency and your pedi is not available, another one can care for your little baby.

I took my first daughter to see Dr. Gabriel for about 3 months. She is not very friendly and sometimes hard to understand. we always had a long wait and trouble getting appointments. We now go to Dr. Abrams at Bandera and Huebner, with the NW pediatrics group. all the doctors are great there. we always are able to get appointments, they return phone calls and always have someone on call for emergencies. Dr Abrams is also really good at giving you literature on any diagnosis which is really helpful.
the number for them is ###-###-####. Hope this helps!
