Seeking Help from All You Creative Moms Out There

When I was teaching I had to make lots of creative projects like that. Once, I used a white vinyl table cloth for a large-scale drawing because it wouldn't tear like paper, traveled well and could be used again later. Sharpie permanent markers worked great.

Also, it's complicated, but if you could print a clip art picture of a fridge onto a transparency, then get access to an overhead projector (maybe at a grade school or a church in your area?), you can project the image any size you'd like and then just trace it onto the paper or tablecloth. I'm such a nerd teacher, I wish I had an overhead projector in my house. They're awesome!

You can always go online. Lets see....i find a lot of coloring pages for my daughter. Maybe you can look for a coloring page website and search for things around the house or something. If you happen to find a picture of a fridge, take it to kinkos and have them blow it up to the size you need. It may have copyrights so check on that. Or, you can take it there and they'll tell you if you are not sure. Another way: again, if you find a coloring page you can make a copy onto transparency paper from your printer at home. If you are not familiar w/ this all you do is stick it in your paper tray as if it were regular paper. You can find it at any office supply store or maybe walmart or target. If you have access to a projector, you can put a big sheet of white paper on a wall, put the transperency on the projector and project it onto the white paper. Then you can just trace the outline and you'll have your 6ft fridge. You'll have to play around with it first before you print (enlarge it, etc.) this way, when it shines on the wall you'll have the size you need. If you copy it without testing it on the projector, then it may not come out to the size you need.
If all else fails, buy some white tablecloth paper and have someone draw it for you!!!
Personally, i would go the kinkos route though. They'll have the exact size paper you need (length and width). Not to mention take all the work off of your hands!!! Hope it goes well!!!

Check with your local newspaper office. They may sell end rolls (a roll with some of the paper that the newspaper is printed on). These are very large pieces of paper that you could draw on.

Here's what I would do, use gift wrap, white or silver, Get a sharpie wide tip marker and yard stick. Pencil in the outer lines, handles, freezer separation. Simply go over it with the sharpie, or cut pieces of poster board in similar colors and use spray glue to stick on layers of doors then handles in wood color or black...use poster putty to hang it. Hobby Lobby has a lot of the items you need.

If if was me this is what I would do...do to your microsoft word program and go to insert clipart. Go to find clips online. find a very simplistic but cute pic of a fridge. Then do it in pieces. This will give your fridge depth and the layered look and make it more manageable do to the large size. A very wide tip sharpie and some white roll paper should be all you need. (If you really want it to be easy and you don't mind spending a little money...print the pic you find from clipart and take it to kinkos...tell them the size you need and let them do it!)

my suggestion - roll out the plain side of rapping paper and with a sharpie just draw 2 boxes (the size of your fridge) then draw them on the paper, just make sure that the handles are in the right spots and it should look just fine. You could also glue some letters or pictures on it to make it look more like a fridge. You'll do fine, good luck!

I'm wondering if you can go to a store (Lowe's, Sears, Rent-A-Center- somewhere that displays fridges) and ask for a box that one came in.

Maybe a bunch of posterboard duct-taped together and then wrapped in wrapping paper to help cover the creases?

Maybe a drop cloth used for painting, old curtain, or a sheet? You could draw on that and then hang it up depending on what the activity actually is.
