I know what you are talking about. I have used a GREAT guy in the past and his rate is %45/hr. He is no nonesense, work hard until the job is done kind of guy. I have referred him to other friends and family and they have all been very pleased with him also. He is defineatly our go to guy for the handy stuff. Plus, he has designed and buildt his own home by hand in the past so he looks at things from a construction point of view rather than just a "get it done, quick fix" view if you know what I mean.

Check out www.craigslist.com, then go under the Serives section and click on household. Then for the key word put handyman. I have seen them advertise for as low as 20.00 dollars an hour. Hope this helps.
