Does anyone know of a really good female gynecologist preferrably in Grapevine, Keller, Southlake area? I would be open to traveling to other areas of the DFW area if the doc was really good. I am finished having babies and want someone who focuses primarily on women's health now. I loved my OB/GYN, but his focus really is more OB.

Thanks so much!!

What can I do next?

Women's Integrated Healthcare in Grapevine has an all female staff. Their doctors are fabulous! I have been a patient there for 6 years. Their website is http://www.wih.cc/.

If you want a good female doctor, go to Rhodesia LaStrap. She is the best female doctor I know of. I believe her office is in either Hurst or Bedford.

There's an all female women's group in Grapevine their building is outside the hospital, it's Women's Intergrated Healthgroup. I don't go there because I like my Dr and he has helped with other issues as well as delivering both of my boys but is part of a male group.

I would recomend my doc Dr. White. He has an office in the baylor grapevine hospital and one in keller. He is awesome, very up on all new research, great bedside manners and his staff is great! He just delivered my baby boy :)

I love my doc--Dr. Barbara Webster, Women's Group in Bedford. http://www.thewomansgroup.com/about/barbara-webster.php You might want to check out Texas Health's Doc Shops and see if there's one coming up for Gyns. (www.texashealth.org/docshop). You get a chance to meet several docs at once and ask them questions (it's like speed dating) without a fee. (Disclaimer-I work for Texas Health).

Good luck!

I just started using a new OB/GYN...Dr. Carnevale. Her main office is in Lake Worth, but she also rotates into the MCNT office at Ben Hogan (Harris FTW). I REALLY like her!! I, too, am done having babies (as of April 2006) and I had been using my reg doc for paps and such. I wanted someone that was not so OB focused, too (it's hard to find just GYN docs anymore). Anyway, I have seen her 3 or 4 times already in the past few months because I am trying to decide what I want to do about heavy periods. I just saw her yesterday, as a matter of fact, for a sonohysterogram. She is very nice, very honest and very thorough. I have never felt 'out of place' for not being the only NOT pregnant lady there, either. I plan to use her from now on, unless for some unforseen reason I have to move FAR away! ;o)

I like my gynecologist in Keller...Dr.Thomas Vaughan. I've been his patient for a number of years and he has helped me, and another relative that also went to him, with women issues besides having babies.
