Seeking a Good Church to Attend

Can anyone suggest a good casual non denominational(not sure if I spelled that right) church to attend? My husband and I have never attended a church and feel that is something we should really try to help our marriage and feel our daughter should really grow up knowing all about God. We live off of Western Center and 35 so we would like to attend something close by and would even be interested in Saturday evening worship. I have always worried about placing my daughter in the childcare so that is one main reason we still have not really looked into attending.

Thank you in advance for all information.
J.

Fellowship Church is a great church, especially if you've never been to church. They have Saturday night services and they rock!

There are several campuses of Fellowship Church (the main church is in Grapevine) and there is one in Ft. Worth.

Congratulations on your decision to find a church home, inviting God into your family has amazing power!

We attend Fellowship of the Parks off of Heritage Trace and Beach (in the Heritage subdivision). It's big, but not too big. We have 3 services on Sunday; 9, 10:15, 11:30. Kids Inc is our children's ministry. My kids both go every Sunday, Owen is in kindergarten and Peyton is in the 4 year old room. Each room has a 'theme', so the kids think it's pretty cool. My husband and I teach 2nd - 4th graders in The Lab. The volunteers all go through background checks and new volunteers are paired up with senior volunteers so it's really safe.
We're a bible based church; which means that our pastor will preach from the bible as it applies to modern day life, but he always challenges us to go back to the bible to validate what he's teaching. Our church mission is to reach non-churched people; those who are seeking answers and want a place where they will feel comfortable and welcomed. It's casual, I wear jeans every Sunday (of course I'm in the Lab doing experiments with kids too).

If you decide you would like to try us out give me a call or PM me, we would love to meet you and your family before service and show you around!

We attend Harvest Church on 377 and Hightower (just as Basswood turns into Hightower). Harvest is Baptist but is very bible based and includes people from many different backgrounds. I'd love for you to try it. I was a little worried about it being so big but since we've gotten involved with a smaller group we love it there and really feel like we are part of the Harvest family! I have a 5 yr old and 22 month old and they love it there as do my husband and I! There are lots of programs for the kids and I'd be happy to meet you some time if you'd like to join us! We have ABF (adult bible fellowship/Sunday school) at 9:00 and church service at 10:30 on Sundays! Let me know if you'd like to come sometime!

Hi J.!! We attend BearCreek Bible Church in Keller and we love it!! We have been there for almost 3 yrs, and made so many great friends and learned so much. They have a website www.bcbc.org that you can check out. They have 2 serices on Sunday 8:15 and 11:00 we attend the 11 am service, it is more contemporary. If you are not comfortable having your daughter attend childrens church that is ok, we welcome children in the service and provide crayons and paper, there is also a room where you can sit with and let her play while you see and hear the sermon. If you ant to come and visit sometime I would be glad to meet you at the door and you can sit with us. We have two boys 6 & 3, and a daughter who is 18mo.
