My husband and I are planning a short getaway weekend to Santa Fe, New Mexico for our 10th Anniversary in June. We are wanting to stay some place really nice. Do any of you have any recommendations for a great place to stay?

What can I do next?

Hi C..

We have some friends that are getting married in Santa Fe in September. They chose Santa Fe because the girl's family has a vacation condo there and have spent a lot of time there. On their wedding website they recommend these hotels. I have copied and pasted some of the info below. Good luck!

Inn of the Anasazi
Hotel
5 Stars
$379/night and up; 2 night minimum stay
113 Washington Ave
Santa Fe NM 87501
###-###-####

The nicest hotel we've seen in Santa Fe. A Rosewood Hotel, On the Plaza, Five Star, Top of the line.

Inn on the Alameda
Hotel
4 Stars
$220/night - $380/night; 2 night minimum stay
303 E. Alameda
Santa Fe NM 87501
888.984.2121

Very Romantic, Bed and Breakfast feel. Located between the Plaza and Gallery district. Free Breakfast, Attractive Southwestern Decor, Good Linens and Robes. Very nice hotel.

C.,

My husband and I got married in Santa Fe and have been back twice since then and it is still the same wonderful place it was then. I love it there! Try the Eldorado Hotel it is great with great food. If you can try to get to The Palace for dinner and order there ceasar salad!! They're famous for it. I don't think you'll be dissapointed in any of Santa Fe! Good Luck!

Hi C.-
I LOVE Santa Fe!! My husband and I got married there 2 years ago. There are so many great places to stay around the square. I would definitely stay somewhere on the square so you don't have to worry about driving. My husband and I got married at the La Posada it is really nice and conviently located to the square. Inn on the Alameda is very nice and romantic. I have not stayed at the Inn of the Anasazi but my bridal luncheon was there and it was extremely nice. I think it is a little overpriced. But, my parents have stayed there and enjoyed it. If you need something cheaper than the ones I suggested above the Inn of the Govenors is a nice place to stay. Breakfast is included in the price of the room.
If you need any suggestions on restaurants please let me know. La Casa Sena and Santa Cafe are two of my favorites! Have fun!
