hi everyone...we have a 65in flat screen tv...over 5 years old. the screen has started getting white spots on it like the color isnt showing through...example: if the screen is all black and turned on it looks like a night sky with stars..lol
anyone know what is going on ?
I asked my husband about this. He said that it sounds like you have some stuck pixels on your LCD screen. There are ways to unstick the pixels in flat screen monitors. He has done it himself on his monitor, however, if it is not done just right, you could break the entire screen. It might be similar in the flat screen TV. It is best to call a repair man and have him see what, if anything, he can do.
What kind of tv is it?
DLP? plasma? LCD?
Brand?
sounds like hte pixels are dying.. there's nothing you can do to repair it, so it sounds like its time to get a new tv.
