I use this one from the Quick Cooking magazine. It makes two so you can freeze one:

PIZZA PASTA CASSEROLE

2 pounds ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 jars (28 ounces each) spaghetti sauce
1 package (16 ounces) spiral pasta, cooked and drained
4 cups (16 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
8 ounces sliced pepperoni

In a large skillet, cook beef and onion until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and pasta. Transfer to two greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dishes. Sprinkle with cheese, arrange pepperoni over the top. Cover and freeze one casserole for up to 3 months. Bake the second casserole, uncovered, at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until heated through. To use frozen casserole: Thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until heated through. Yield: 2 casseroles (8-10 servings each).

Hi J.---This recipe, from my mom, was put in a kids section of our church cookbook, For Jr. Cooks Only. Enjoy.

Macaroni, Pizza Style

1 7oz pkg elbow macaroni, 2 C uncooked ( I recommmend whole wheat)
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 8oz cans tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp italian seasoning
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder (we will use minced garlic)
1/2 C milk (we use unsweetened soy or almond)
1 egg
1/4 to 1/2 lb mozzarella or cheddar, grated or sliced thin

Prepare macaroni according to package directions. Drain. Brown ground beef and onion. Drain fat. Add tomato sauce, 1/2 tsp salt, and seasonings. Simmer for to 10 minutes. Beat milk, egg and 1/2 tsp salt together. Blend into macaroni and spread on a greased 10X15 jelly roll pan. (I use a 9X13 pan...makes a thicker, softer casserole...I also just put the macaroni in the pan then simply pour the milk/egg mixture over it). Cover with meat mixture. Top with cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Let stand 5-10 minutes before cutting. Makes 6 servings.

Enjoy. D.

I have a quick and easy "pizza" type casserole but not sure if this is what you're looking for...

macaroni of your choice
Jar of spaghetti sauce
pepperoni
italian sausage
parmesan cheese
Mozerella

Cook macaroni (a little less than a one lb box. One lb is too much)

Cook 1/2 lb of italian sausage and pepperoni as you like (I get it from the deli and cube it up. About 1/4 lb)

Pour spaghetti sauce over cooked and drained macaroni, give it a little stir, mix in the cooked and drained sausage and the pepperoni. Mix in parmesan to taste (I use about a 1/4 cup) and pour into a 9x13 baking dish. Cover with mozerella (I use about 2 cups)

Bake for about 20 minutes or until everything melds together and the cheese is melted on top.

This is WAY better the second day. But that's what we call the "pizza" casserole in our house.

Good luck to you.

Mine is called "crockpot pizza"

One bag of italian trio pasta, cooked and drained

Brown a pound of hamburger and drain it. Add a jar of spaghetti sauce and a jar of pizza sauce to it, stir.

Here is where you individualize it. Whatever toppings you like - pepperoni, canadian bacon, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, green or black olives, italian sausage, etc.

in a crockpot or cassarole dish, layer: one layer cooked pasta, cover with sauce, layer with toppings, then a thick layer of shredded mozzerella cheese. Repeat at least once, twice is better, ending with mozzerella. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.

Bake in the oven 30 minutes at 350, or low in the crockpot for 3 or 4 hours.
This recipe freezes ahead very well.

Mine is similar to Christine's:
One can of biscuits (I use grands reduced fat - no trans fat), biscuits cut into quarters
One large jar of spaghetti sauce
1 lb ground beef
Pizza toppings of your choice (mushrooms, onions, green peppers, etc)
2 C mozzarella cheese

Brown & drain hamburger. Mix in spaghetti sauce & pizza toppings. Fold in quartered biscuits & pour into 9x13 pan. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Sorry I missed this one the other day, but here's my favorite:

1 bag egg noodles, cooked al dente
1 lb. hamburger, browned
1 can pizza sauce
1 can cheddar cheese soup
mushrooms, onions, peppers, black olives (optional)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Mix first 4/5 ingredients and spread in 9x13 greased pan and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Top with mozzarella and bake an additional 10 minutes until browned.

I also just got another recipe called Bubble-up Pizza:

1 can biscuits, cut in fourths
pepperoni, cut into pieces
2 cups shredded mozzarella, divided
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can pizza sauce
black olives, mushrooms, etc. (optional)

Mix biscuits, pepperoni, toppings, sauce, 1 cup mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Spread in 9x13 greased pan. Top with 1 cup mozzarella and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

I got this recipe from Kraft, it is kind of an upside down pizza casserole:

1 can refridgerated pizza crust
2 c shredded cheese
1 lb ground beef (or meat of choice, great w/chicken)
1 jar of pizza sauce (I often use 1 can tomato sauce and season)
1 bag frozen broccli ( veg of choice, califlower or spinach work well)

Cook meat with sauce
Cook vege
Layer in 9x13 pan: meat, cheese, vege, cheese, uncooked pizza dough
Cook in oven according to dough directions

This takes me no more than 30 minutes from start to finish and my whole family LOVES it!
