Rae Got Me Thinking... Paranormal Question...

I don't think there has been any 'paranormal' things happen since my husband left!!

I may have been too preoccupied to notice, or maybe I'm just used to the weird occurrences that I don't notice them as much anymore... but I really can't think of anything strange that's happened since he left.

Granted, most of these things happened when he wasn't home anyway, so it's not like it was HIM doing these things...

Could someone/ something be following him? Do you have any similar experiences with something like this?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Nevermind. The antique radio just let out a split second of white noise. It's not plugged in. It's not following my husband.

Bummer ;)

Any paranormal activity can come from a variety of sources. The land your house sits on may have been a vacant lot or farm land for 100 years before your house was built but ... it may have been a native burial ground or village or battle 100-200 + years before you house was built. If you purchase used furniture it could have been a favorite peice from someone who passed and the family sold off the peice after they passed and that person comes back to sit on it again. So a rocking chair will rock when 'no one' is there. A radio will suddenly turn on-even unplugged.

I am a psychic/medium and sometimes spirits will follow me home because I know they are there. Sometimes they have jumped into my car as I am driving or will call out to me as I drive past. They can be persistant little buggers.

One thing to remember -- demons do exist -- sometimes we see them as children and think they are ghosts of children. They can appear to be harmless but always be wary of child ghosts.

Sometimes bad energy attracts bad energy.
Not to say your husband had bad energy....
Just sayin'.

And yes, that's exactly what happens...they leave, the energy diminishes...
Burn some white sage and pray (whatever that 'looks" like to YOU) in every room of your home, R..

ETA: The "bad" energy is not going to go away overnight, but it WILL markedly diminish IF you cleanse your home with the sage....I've personally seen this happen at least a dozen times. Couldn't hurt. You'll FEEL the difference.

Hey R.- Since my name was in the question, I figured I should at least give you an answer :) ..

Many years ago in my home, my brother's room had a strange presence in it. Our home always seemed to have some kind of activitiy, but this wasn't the usual kind. It wasn't inviting. During this time my brother was going through some very dark days. I think the energy in our home took a different turn when my brother was going through some things. Needless to say, it was scary.

My friend and I entered his room one day and did a cleansing/blessing there. After that, whatever was in there was gone. Things with my brother got better as well.

I can say that some people are sensitive to the paranormal, and sometimes spirits will follow them. Also, an energy that someone gives off, can also change the mood, situation, vibe, etc. It's possible that he could either be a sensitive, or whatever energy you have in your home, didn't vibe with your ex's energy. If your house is different now that he is gone, it might be due to this, as well as how your own feelings are now. Do you feel at peace, or a sense of calmness about your situation now? That could, in itself change the overall energy of your home.

I hope I am making sense. But, that's the way I see it.

Added: Ah, well, maybe they like YOUR energy..:)

Sorry, your "So What Happened" made me laugh. I hope that your visitors are good visitors.

I grew up in a house that had been built on an old Indian burial site (plus we had a cemetery just down from our house). We had a whole family that lived in our house and they were seen on several occasions. However, they were peaceful and just shared our house with us. You would see them watching you through the window or something like that. My mom saw them all at the end of her bed one night, they would rock in the rocking chair if someone was sick etc. They were peaceful.

We had a neighbor whose visitor was not quite so peaceful and she had actually made a deal with him that during the day he could be upstairs and at night he could have the downstairs...he got really cranky and threw things if you were in his space. :-)

I have never dealt with a dark spirit but a friend of mine's daughter did and it was kind of creepy.

Enjoy your visitors as long as they are peaceful. :O)

Back when we were ' house shopping' my son would see pictures of those old victorian houses and he'd tell me " there's alot of people in that house ". ( the house would be vacant and for sale )

R. - Rob could carry a lot of negative energy. If he does, then things (spirits) will follow him. Doesn't matter that he wasn't home when they happened, his energy was still there.

Now that his stuff is gone as well as him, the energy is gone.

Things may happen - however - I don't think bad things will happen as the energy you put out is GOOD energy. POSITIVE energy. So if things happen - it could be someone looking for the right way "home". You have the ability to "feel" them so you can help them!!

Does that make sense?

Do you believe in angels? There are holy angels and fallen angels. Not all angels are good.

My daughter's family has someone sharing their house; they named him Roscoe. He seems attracted to young children because she has seen both her daughters at seperate times talking to someone who was not there. When she asked who she was talking to the oldest one replied a little boy.

He rearranges things like stuff in the kitchen and he turns the living room ceiling fan off and on.

Huh? Did I miss something? Paranormal weirdness is attracted to your husband, and now for some reason he is gone? I'm intrigued and creeped all at the same time. Where is he and what's with radios coming on by themselves? Do you think something is up? I'd be finding a priest right about now and get the house blessed (Catholics call it an house exorcism). I have heard that furniture, pictures, clothing, houses, locations and more can be possessed as well as people. I know you've been collecting photos. Since you've been collecting things has it been weird?

Read this best seller book. Very eye opening about what constitutes posession of people and objects, and another form of paranormal activity called "obsession", which is experienced more commonly by people (perhaps Rob?) rather than a condition of "things". There is a sequel best-seller too:
