We LOVE hot chocolate. Since it's starting to get cold, we have had it as a snack after school sometimes. What are some good foods to eat with it. Most of the time I just do buttered toast. What are your favorite foods to have with hot chocolate?

What can I do next?

We usually either just have it alone as a night time snack or dessert or we have it with a special breakfast. Likre on the weekends, holidays or a no school SNOW DAY!.

FYI, the absolute best I have ever found is the William Sonoma Hot Cocoa.. It is shaved chocolate.. If you go there on the 22nd, in the afternoon or Christmas Eve, they have it for half price!

Incredible.

Well, since hot chocolate is already sweet, we don't like it with a very sugary cookie. We either just drink the hot chocolate all by itself or have it with a cookie that's not too sweet like Salerno's butter cookies. My kids like wearing them on their fingers and biting of parts of it. Or we eat honey graham crackers with them and sometimes we dunk these in the hot chocolate.

Marshmallows, peppermints, candycanes, and cookies! Oh, s'mores if possible. The best would be s'mores with chocolate chip cookies in place of graham crackers, but I haven't had one of those in years.

Hooray for peanut butter toast! Or regular toast. Or if it's not breakfast time and they're coming in from playing, I give the kids a Walkers shortbread cookie (or a Christmas cookie we've made).
