Hi ladies, I'm back with another question. I have chosen to go to Overlake Ob/Gyn in Bellevue. Question for you lovely ladies though is, who have you seen at this practice. I have chosen Dr. Haines, but haven't met him yet. Will I like him? There is also a Dr. Kolwitz, Dr. Lawler, Dr. Graham, Dr. Paley, Dr. Van Kessel, Dr. Otto and Dr. Lacy? This will be my third baby, but first in Washington. I prefer to see one at the Bellevue location and not the Issaquah one.

If any of you mommas are willing to share your experiences (good or bad) with any of these docs, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Dr Haines is my doctor and we absolutley ADORE him. He is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever met in my life! He truly cares about you and your baby! We had a series of losses before this baby and he was so kind and understanding, so compassionate. He was a Godsend. Trulley. This pregnancy he monitered me closely giving me as many ultrasounds as I wanted to feel secure. He takes extra time for you and is always willing to answer your questions. His nurse is also wonderful! I am so thankful for Dr. Haines. He has been a ObGyn for a looong time, I dont know how long, but at least 20 years or more. He specializes in both high risk and natural birth. He is absolutley a wonderful doctor and always listens to any concerns you have, no matter how small they seem. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He has been such a blessing to us.
Hope that helps!

Dr Graham often gets rave reviews and accolades, and her nurse that she had a few years ago (not sure if it's the same one) was WONDERFUL. I had Dr. VanKessel who was good. Dr. Kolwitz actually ended up delivering my baby (it just depends who's on call that day as you know) and she was pretty rough around the edges. Told me "that's not pushing, I'll come back when you can push". Yikes!

I don't go to that practice, but I have heard really good things about Lawler, and that practice in general.

I asked around for weeks and weeks and got tons of recommendations for Lawler. He just performed a Csection (scheduled) 4 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with him. He did a great job and even made my previous Csection scare look BETTER! best of luck

Dr. Lawler is incredible. I would trust him with anything. Dr. Haines is very kind and assisted Dr. Lawler with my second c-section, but I love Dr. Lawler. He is also very well known for caring for patients with high risk pregnancies. He also has a very high percentage rate for being present at the birth (I believe it was in the upper 90's when I saw him).
