Hello mommies! I had my daughter 8 weeks ago. Since then, I honestly just don't feel "right". I am still having on and off again lower abdominal pains and I don't know if it is from birth or something else. My husband & I did have sex and used the pull out method and the next day I got the morning after pill so I thought maybe it was from that pill however that was 3 weeks ago. Is it normal to have pain this long after birth? I didn't ever experience this with my other two so I am just worried.

What can I do next?

Does it feel like crampy, uterine pain or like muscles or joints? I had pain right in the center of my pubic bone after my 2nd child. I waited several months to ask about it, went to PT for a while and it didn't get better, then finally had an x-ray and learned that I had bone inflammation at the pubic symphasis joint. It was treated with anti-inflammatory medication and I was better a month later.

There are lots of weird things that postpartum pain could be - I would start with your OB-Gyn and see what she or he says.

WOW newbie home and using the pull out method, take a pregancy test in a few days morning after pill doesn't work for everyone.Call your doctor first thing Monday morning make an appt. to get a diagnoses on what is going on or if your pregnant, and do a urine culture it could be a bladder infection.Lots of weird things happen after having a baby not to mention thngs are still going back into place.Did you ever get the Depo shot?If so you read the side effects your abdominal pains could be from the shot.
