So What Happened?

Thanks M.S. I really liked Lake Country, but the issue is that they do 5 day a week montessori, and my child is not yet ready for this.
I am looking for a 3 day option..any suggestions/

Shay: Have not been to Child Garden yet..will check it out..Thanks for your response!

What about Lake Country? It's uptown (38th and Lyndale), but downtown is only 10 minutes away, driving up Lyndale.

Have you checked out Child Garden Montessori? They are in Minneapolis near the Walker and Loring Park.

Child Garden Montessori is the way to go. My children went there, and they were both reading before they went to kindergarten. It was a lovely place, with great teachers, and a perfect balance of Montessori and regular preschool. There are two schools, both located by the Walker Art Center just south of downtown.

I am not sure about that specific New Horizon Academy location (Laurel Village) but I can say that New Horizon Academy is fantastic. My son goes to one of their locations and I have been very happy with them. He just loves it, the teachers are very friendly, thoughtful, and fun! Their seems to be a good balance of just free play and learning in the Preschool Room. I would recommend New Horizon's but I would say to checkout that specific location as I know that locations can differ, due to the specific centers director etc.

P.S. I just noticed you are from Ohio, are you moving to Minneapolis from there and searching remotely?
