Please Keep Her in Your Thoughts

Ok, I normally keep my faith to myself and don't ask others to share it but I would like to ask the help from you mom's/dad's out there!

A friend of mine had a stroke around 6pm last night. She is a young mom at 32 with 5 young kids. Right away she was 100% paralyzed on her left side. The clot stuck at the base of her brain. As of today she does have back blurry and double vision in her left eye that wasn't there before. They are keeping her under most of the time and have brought her out 4 times to do a brain scan. Each time they have done the scan there is a little bit more brain activity but as of right now nothing else has come back but her partial vision.

So if I could please ask those who are willing to, please pray for another mom out there who is so young and has such a long road ahead of her. Not only for herself but with raising her 5 young kids.

Thank you!

I will definately keep her in my prayers. My Dad had a severe stroke in 1994. After spending about 2mths in the hospital they wanted to send him to a nursing home because they said there was no way he could take care of himself. Well, my brother and I couldn't handle the thought of putting him in a nursing home so we sent him home and took turns caring for him. We signed him up for physical therapy and water aerobics and bought him a treadmill. Within the year, he was back to caring for himself. He even started driving again.
At the time of his stroke, he had zero memory. He recognized us but didn't know our names. So, we put names on all of his pictures so he could sit and practice them. After the stroke, he always had problems with people's names but once he had his memory back, he would "know" that he was saying the wrong name.
I hope your friend has a full recovery like my Dad did.
