Does anyone have any experience with a pediatric neurologist? The closer to Elgin, the better. I was referred to one in Skokie, but I'm hoping to find one a bit closer if possible.
My daughter is having visual disturbances and the eye dr and her ped want her to see a ped. neurologist as well.

Children's Memorial has lots of fantastic peds. of all specialties. Many of these drs. also see patients at Central Dupage Hospital (as well as some other hospitals that are further away). Maybe check their website and see if they have someone who accepts your insurance?? Best of luck.
My son saw Dr. Ruge out of Lutheran General. He was great, we really liked him a lot. He isn't really close to Elgin, but he is a great Dr.

I have never seen this doctor myself, but his name was given to me by someone who has. His name is Dr. Eugene R. Schnitzler and he's in Algonquin. I believe he's on Algonquin Rd (Rt. 62), which is right off of Randall Rd. I hope everything works out with your daughter!
