I am interested in hosting a Passion or Pure Romance party. I just don't know which one to do. Which is better? I don't want to hear from any reps. I just want to hear from those who have hosted the parties and whether you enjoyed them or not.

Depends on the person giving the party (the rep).

I've been to many of these parties (i will not even comment of the friends I have) and in my younger days, helped a friend of mine host a few and it's really all in who is your rep.

If your rep is new and has little to say, it's not much fun. But if you're rep is sassy and fun and keeps things interesting...then it's a good time had by all.

Most of the products are the same in either.

My suggestion is if you have reps in mind...go to one of their parties (yes, it's ok to ask if you can see one to see how they are around people) and make up your mind then.

Also...it's better to have the parties on the weekend. NORMALLY, libations are served and frankly I don't want to go to work with a headache. I personally would NOT go to one that was held on a week night.

Good luck to you...and HAVE FUN!!!

I've never been to either one but I have heard that they are fun.

When I was invited, I could not attend because it was on a Friday night. Friday and Sat nights are date nights around here.

If I were hosting a party, I would have it on a weeknight so that it might not interfere with the date nights. Moms need a break during the week for a mom's night out. Great idea!

I've been to a Passion Party before. I knew the rep, but she no longer does the parties anymore or I would give you her info. We had a ton of fun! The quality of the products is really good, too. Have fun!

The products are the same pretty much. It all depends on the person who does the party. I would call both and just say you are thinking about it and ask what their typical party is like. You want one who plays games, gives out prizes, and seems energetic. You also want to make sure they have private ordering, take cash, checks, and credit, and will deliver the orders in a discreet way. Have Fun!

I've been to all 3 companies that are listed here and I prefered the Pure Romance over them. I must say though that it depends on the consultant doing it how well its going to be.

I hosted a "Slumber Party" for my mom's group back in October and it was FABULOUS! We all had the best time. I had never been to a party like this, but some of my friends that had been to a Pure Romance party said that the Slumber Party was much nicer. I'll be glad to forward you the reps contact info if you like. I am planning on using her again in the spring for a Ladies' Luau Party.

It does depend on your rep..however, the Pure Romance products seem to be a little better quality. Also, the company itself is family owned and is very active with the communities, which are important qualities to me.
you should check them out on the web.
If you become interested in hosting a pure romance party, my best friend is a consultant and does training for new consultants so she is very good and professional with her parties, and I will give you her info

I went to a Pure Romance Party for a bachelorette party; it was fun fun fun. I liked that we ordered in private and it was as appropriate as it could be for our conservative group--well, minus one friend...LOL.
