Does anyone have the OXO Pop Storage Containers? If so, do you like them? If not, do you have a set of storage containers that you really like? I'm looking into buying a new set of storage containers for flour, sugar and brown sugar because mine no longer have a tight seal and my brown sugar is always too hard!

Thanks!

What can I do next?

I love them! They work very well so far - I have had them for maybe 2 years and the lids still work well and hold a seal. The only thing I do not like about them is that the bigger ones I use for flour are somewhat hard to handle getting off the shelf because they are heavy when filled and the sides are completely smooth,so there is nothing to grip, making it a two handed job. Not that big of a deal.

I love them. My mother bought me a set, and they're probably the best storage containers I've ever had. I use them for brown sugar, coconut, and rice flour. I think they're great.

I put one large marshmallow in my brown sugar container to keep the sugar soft. I change it about once a week when I make oatmeal on Saturday mornings and it works like a charm!

I love these containers. I have been buying them one at a time because of the cost. Look on-line for better pricing than in the stores. I use them for flour, sugar, pasta etc. I have not tried them for brown sugar yet. I keep that double bagged and wrapped tight.

While I've had a couple OXO containers from time to time and they've been ok, I absolutely LOVE my Snapware containers! They used to have a good assortment at Target, but I think they're mostly The Container Store and then online (www.snapware.com) nowadays. I have my flours and sugars in containers that not only snap tight (with a rubber gasket to keep air out), but then a couple of them also have a little flip door to actually get the flour out without having to take off the whole lid! And the little door also has a gasket to seal out the air! These are the absolute best I've ever used.

Finally, the Snapware containers I have are not a brittle plastic, so I'm not as worried about them cracking like I am with the OXO ones.

Overall, I've been very pleased with the maintenance of freshness.

I recommend keeping the brown sugar in the bag and get a pkg. of pampered Chef twixit clips - they are 10 in a pkg. for $5.50 and they seal out air and moisture and my brown sugar stays fresh.
