Hey, has any conceived using the ovulation stimulator drug ovidrel? If so, how did it go? My endo. has suggested that prior to my IUI that i use the ovidrel shot. I'm concerned as to how accurate they will be using this method and if it will throw off my normal cycle. Thanks ladies.
Yes I concieved using Ovidrel among other drugs. Ovidrel was the stimulator that I used though. Both times I used it I ended PG. One eneded in miscarriage, the other endeed with my now 7 month daughter!
It worked for us, I used it to prepare for insemination & success on the first try :) It tells your body to release egg(s). I think it's worth a shot (pardon the pun). Best of luck to you and your husband!
all it does is trick your body into thinking its time to naturally ovulate and your cylce then continue normally

Ovidrel worked for us twice, along with IUI. No issues with my cycle afterwards. Good luck!
it won't throw your normal cycle off. it just assures that your ovaries release any and all mature follicles prior to IUI.
I used it for my IUI back in March and now I am 3 weeks away from my due date.

I used ovidrel to get pregnant with my DDs. It worked great, timed everything perfectly for the IUI and worked the first time with both of my daughters!
