I am thinking of taking my 4 and 6 year old grandchildren to the See Museum during their school vacation. I would like some opinions from those who have experienced it with their kids. Thank you.

What can I do next?

Go go go!!! Call them first or check the website to see what they have going on for kids. They have a dedicated art area to use at any time, they do kids tours, they have art rooms and art project time every week. FYI to anyone who needs a changing table: they have that in the downstairs bathroom but not in the one near the coat check by the front door. There's a cafe with lots of seating, boosters/high chairs, kid friendly foods. Strollers are welcome too for younger kids, and where there are stairs you can ask how to navigate by elevator. AND, terrific art collection for all ages to take in. Tell your kids to look for birds, people, mommies and babies, shapes, colors in the paintings. You'll be amazed at how observant kids can be. Art museums are not just for adults!

Loved it! We went about a month ago with our 4 1/2 yr old and 3 yr old. Lots of things they are allowed to touch and do. My husband & I especially enjoyed the Millyard lego exhibit (help the kids find the train w/ the camera). My son couldn't get enough of the pulley chairs. My daughter seemed to enjoy every bit of it (bubbles & pulley chair).

We bought the season pass so that we can also use it at the Boston Children's Museum, the Museum of Science, The Children's Museum in Dover, and the Christa McCauliffe Planetarium.

So much to do & see, so little time :>

I would recommend it for that age. My daughter was 3 when we went and she liked it but it'd be even better for 4-6 year olds. Good luck and have fun!

The SEE museum is a good little place. There are some experiments and such. It is a good hands on place.
