Hi ladies! I am 38 weeks pregnant with my fourth child, and although you think that I would be a pro at this, I am struggling to find the right kind of nursing bra. I am a 38DD, and my favorite bra right now is the Victoria's Secret bra that I got last year. Lots of support, wide straps, 4 hook enclosures...I would really like to find a bra similiar to this but made for nursing.
I ordered two bras online that said "supportive", but they're not! Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

What can I do next?

Motherhood bras are awful for bigger busts. I needed a 36 H nursing bra and went with the underwire Medela. It was very supportive and I didn't ahve any problems with the underwire. Despite what people say if you are bigger busted, you have to have an underwire during nursing. You can also check out barenecessities.com for some good ones.

Definitely Bravado for larger cup sizes. I bought three decent nursing bras after my daughter was born, and a year later, the Bravado has held up the best. Really super supportive.

It was really important to me to get a good bra so I waited until a few weeks after my second was born and made a special trip to a nursing store. The lady was so helpful and helped me select a bra that fit correctly. I ended up with Bravado, and eight months later I still love them. But seriously I bought so many with my first child and had such problems with mastistis that I didn't want to guess the second time around. I wanted options and personal attention. It wasn't an easy trip to organize, but I am so happy that I put the effort into making it happen. Good luck and congratulations on your new baby!!!

My favorites are the Bravado nursing bras, I have 3 or 4 in different styles and they are all great. You can check bravado.com to find a retailer in your area or do what I do and order online from breakoutbras.com.
I am a 36H so I understand the need for support, and the Bravado bras do the job. I also have a Freya nursing bra that I really like. You may want to check your size again, especially if you haven't recently, as the wrong sized bra is never going to be as supportive as one that fits correctly. The website I mentioned has great instructions for measuring yourself. I discovered I was wearing the wrong size and getting the right one has made a HUGE difference for me.
Good luck!

Victoria's Secret DOES make nursing bras, but I don't think they go higher than a DD. I'm not sure how they fit. I have ended up liking the Medela ones for larger sizes (I usually start out with a G or something close to it) and then like the Duo soft cup nursing bras I got at Penney's once I'm in smaller sizes. I'm busting out of the DDs now and think the 36/38F nursing bras should fit fine, but last time I ended up in 34D once I weaned, so I had to keep buying smaller bras over the course of a year. I just bought some Goddess nursing bras and will muddle through with them since I think they'll fit at first, but I did not like the way they felt or shaped.

I can never find any nursing bras that I really like so I just get a Victoria's secret front closure bra. For the first little while I prefer the actual nursing bra cause by boobs are just so out of control and full of milk lol. But after they regulate and calm down the front closure bras work great and then I can still have that really good Victoria's secret fit.
