Ok, I will confess. I am one of those moms who waits til the last minute to Christmas shop. Well, this year it has bit me in the behind. My four year old daughter is expecting a Nintendo Wii for Christmas (Daddy spilled the beans and told her we were getting her one). Problem is, I just found out today that every place on earth it seems is sold out. Either that or only the $600 (and up) bundles are left which we simply cannot go that route (not even out of desperation). Any ideas on where I can buy this game system. Maybe a small mom and pops electronics store? The happiness of my daugher depends on it ;). I will drive any distance!! Thanks!!

GameStop is doing a "Rain Check" system which will gaurantee you a Wii for $249 by Jan 29th. Another thought is to check the stores that are VERY REMOTE. One of my co-workers found one in a small town that she didn't even think about going to check, it was a total fluke.

I found out that Wal-Mart in Mansfield gets a shipment on Monday or Tuesday (they never know which day. If you call them at 10:30 - 11:00 at ###-###-#### ext 105, they will let you know if they are in. I got ours last week by doing this. They will not hold it for you, but if you could get there before noon, you could most likely get one. They do not actually bring out the boxes until around 11:30. The price is $249.00. Good Luck!
A lot of the Gamestops seem to have them.
I saw a few at Gamestop in Northeast Mall on Saturday, you might want to try calling around.
ok here is how you do it.
pick 3 stores that are either near work or home(so you can get to it FAST) and call them everyday.. Most stores recieve a shipment in the morning and have them checked in by lunch at the latest.
But call them at the same time everyday if you can if not 2 times a day.
