New to CA, Looking for Daycare

My family just moved to CA from IL, I would like some advice on daycares in the Walnut Creek or Dublin area. My son's daycare in IL was very structured, he would go through various classes through the day - math, computer lab, gym, spanish, reading. I do not want a daycare that allows a lot of "play time". My son is 27 months. Thank you in advance for any advice.

What can I do next?

You're joking, right? Children, especially at 27 months, learn by playing.

Let him play..he's 27 months old!! There is plenty of time in life to work.

I'm not sure if any day cares out here are that structured but you should check with Old Firehouse School. They have a site in Walnut Creek up on Eckley Lane.

sorry - this is the opposite of what I looked for in a daycare. You may want to register for Sequoia Elementary school as soon as he turns 3. It is a very structured school in Pleasant Hill (Mt. Diablo district), that is first come first served.

Hi there! Welcome to Cali! Try this website: http://parents.berkeley.edu for reviews in your area. Craigslist can be sketchy some times but sometimes you can come out with a gem of a deal! Hope this helps!
