I am a mother of 2 children ages 2 and 3. I recently moved up from St. George where I was seeing Dr. Kerri Smith who was awesome. My son has asthma and my daughter had T & A surgery so I'm super cautious. I don't want a family practice dr. ONLY A PEDITRICIAN.
I don't care where the DR. is anywhere in SL county is fine.
If you guys know any please let me know. Preferably one that is detail-oriented and remembers alot about your history and seems to care. I don't like feeling rushed at my child's doctor because I always have a gazillion questions.
We really enjoy Dr. Pari Mashkuri at the Southwest Children's Clinic. They are in West Jordan, about 8800 South and Redwood Road. The entire staff is female, and they all remember my kids every time we go in. ###-###-####.
My daughter's pediatrician is wonderful. My daughter has had a few health issues and I love that her doctor is over cautious, she has us see a specialist if there is any concern. I'm not sure if you would want to drive all this way but the doctor's name is Jenifer Sandvig at the Wasatch Pediatrics at St. Mark's Hospital. It is located at 3900 S 1300 E. It a bit put of the way but they are awsome and they always have an after hours clinic or a doctor on call.
Dr. Leslie Goodwin @ Southpoint Pediatrics is wonderful! My daughter has asthma as well and Dr. Goodwin is very good with her and patient. There has been times in the past that i have been in every single day and she is always very patient and attentive. Very detailed oriented, always remembers things about my daughter, medically and personally, even if it has been a couple of months. She is located in Sandy. ###-###-####.
We use Dr. David Lofgren for all 5 of our kids 3-23. He has several children of his own and always takes the time we need. His ease and comfort around children is very reassuring. His office is at 1400 east 9400 south. There has not been a problem he has not seen before in almost 10 years as our pediatrician.
I love our pediatrician. He is always friendly, always takes the time to answer questions and never rushes us. He actually talks to our kids, not just us. He always remembers us, our family, what's going on in our lives, etc. And even asks about or offers to check the second kid when I just take one in for anything.
We've even had to see other doctors in the practice when our regular doctor was unavailable and found them to be just as great.

I have an almost 2 year old son, and my OB actually referred me to our Pediatrician, and we LOVE him. He works at a center called Southpointe Pediatrics, where there are 7 different doctors so it is usually pretty easy to get in on short notice. They even have office hours on Saturday, which saves the emergency room visit. Our pediatrician's name is Brian Buchanan, and he is wonderful...we have seen almost all of the doctors at that center though, and they are all great!!
