I am looking for a good, caring, and up-to-date family doctor. I'd love to have a family practice doctor so we could all go to the same location and establish a relationship with the doctor. We do have some issues - my youngest has Asperger's, and I suffer from depression at times. I also need a good gynocologist. I haven't had a "yearly checkup" in two years. I think I may be in early menapause and would like a doctor that is familiar with the issues of menapause.

Welcome to the area. I live in Manassas, just north of you. I really like my gynocologist. Its Manassas OB/GYN. They are in the phone book. I don't have the number just now. There are 6 drs. in the practice and all of them are super nice and understanding.

ok, I actually have the same request. we're new to the area and looking for a good pediatrician for our 2 months old son. We recently went to TheKidzDocs in Alexandria (TheKidzDocs.com) for our son's 2months check-up only because they were the only ones available at a time and accepted our insurance plan. We weren't too impressed. Does anyone have any other suggestions or maybe someone who uses them can comment. As I am not too sure if I want to keep them. Thank you.
