Need Suggestions for Our Fall Festival

When my church has their annual Fall Festival, they have a huge silent auction to keep the parents entertained and the raise tons of money. Of course, it might be a little late to get that together at this point, but if you wanted to do a small one to get your feet wet, it is a fun way for the parents to raise money for the school. Alternatively you could do a raffle - have raffle prizes on the table, each with a paper sack taped next to it. People buy raffle tickets - we did our last one for 1 ticket for $5, 5 for $20 and get to put the ticket next to the specific item they want. These are just some we used at a recent event - there are many more, just pool your resources for who you know, who they know, people with home business are often willing to put something in auctions a are artists. Good luck if you decide to go this route!

Another thing that's lots of fun that I didn't see on your flier (I may have just missed it) is a cake walk! I always loved those!

This sounds a lot like what the Young Entrepreneur Club in Balch Springs is doing this weekend! :)

I think you have a full, rounded event. Kudos on getting all of those items donated! Our kids contacted SO many businesses about donations and ran into problems because they had to go through corporate. They did end up getting donations, but different from the ones you guys did.

You asked what else your event could have and all I can say is something scary - but then again, it looks like you are catering to the younger kids - so scary may not be the best way to go!

Looks good! The little ones like face painting too! Also liked the suggestion of a cake walk, all ages can do that. If you don't have baked goods then maybe make it a "prize walk" and give away little goodie bags of candy etc. A silent auction or raffle is always good too. At this point you could do a "mini raffle" and the prizes could be in the lower price range and sell tickets for a dollar each or 6/$5.00 and 12/$10.00. Good Luck!
