Need Suggestions for a Multi-vitamin

I had a vitamin d, B6 and folic acid deficiency which have recently been corrected so now I need to go on "maintenance mode"... I currently take a few different amino acids and free radical fighters but I don't have a multi-vitamin for the basics and for my minerals, which I need to keep in balance or else I get some minor but annoying heart issues. I do eat healthy but obviously I became deficient in things before despite my eating habits so I think I need a regular vitamin. Can anyone recommend a good multi that is actually absorbed by the body and doesn't cost a zillion dollars? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Shaklee. They are one of the very few companies that actually make safe and effective vitamins and have the clinical research to back it up. Not only do the supplements get absorbed, but they are absorbed in exactly the right place in the digestive system--one reason liquid multis are not a good idea. http://www.healthforlife.shaklee.com
BTW our bodies cannot absorb D3 if there is also a magnesium deficiency.

I've taken Shaklee my whole life and love it. They are one of the top rated vitamins. Do a little research online and you'll see there are only about 3 vitamin brands out there that are truly any good.

Alive! is a great multivitamin. You can get it at Walmart or any grocery store. It has vitamins & minerals along with fruits & veggies. It is the only one I will take :)

Oasis - it's a liquid vitamin line I get from the health food store. It costs me $30.00 a bottle but lasts 1 month if my husband isn't mooching and works amazingly wonderfully well. Well worth the expense.

Get an hour of sunlight a day for your vitamin D also want to limit the use of sunblock.

We've been taking these for years. It comes in liquid or chewable and also has probiotics and fruits/veggies so its quickly and easily digestable. Http://www.GBGisIT.com Good luck!

if you need folic I would look into a prenatal vitamin. I remember buying some at wal mart. Spring valley was the brand I think. It had a baby on it. And it also had iron in it. if I remember it was around $10 for 260 pills.

I would suggest going to the Santa Monica Homeopathic store on 7th and Broadway they are extremely helpful and you would get the right things that your body needs
